Questions, answered.

What’s the difference between the full history and the subscription?

The full history is a one-time purchase of every permit on file for the county or state, all years. The monthly subscription covers the past 12 months: each month you get a fresh file of every permit dated in the trailing 12 months, with new permits added and status changes applied.

Buy either, or both for every year on file plus a current rolling year. Cancel the subscription any time.

How do permits link to parcels?

Every record carries parcel_id and parcel_id_kind — whether the department recorded a tax account, a parcel number, a GIS feature id, or only an address — so you can join permits to parcel, assessment and ownership data such as Land Records’ nationwide parcel layer. Each coverage page shows how many of that county’s records carry an id.

What formats do you deliver?

CSV, Excel or Parquet — you pick per file in the cart — one row per permit, with the columns in the data dictionary. Need it loaded straight into your warehouse? Ask us.

Can I get a county you don’t cover yet?

Yes — search for it and use Request this county, or contact us. Requests move a jurisdiction up the acquisition queue, and we’ll tell you when it’s available.
